Nancy has always loved fashion. She grew up as the "go-to" fashion expert for her mother and sisters as well as her friends. Even as a teenager, her favorite reads were Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.
Nancy graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Merchandising and Fashion Promotion. From there it was off to Texas and The Limited where she got her first taste of management. She continued to work her way up the corporate ladder and manage many different departments at Saks, Barneys and Neiman Marcus. She went through the Executive Training Program at Neimans and became an assistant buyer for Escada, Armani and Donna Karan. After Neimans, it was back to Saks Fifth Avenue for a final management stint as the Director of the Fifth Avenue Club, Saks' personal Shopping service. She was hooked. Personal shopping combined her love of wardrobing with organizing not only people's wardrobes, but their lifestyles and needs. She was bitten with an entrepreneurial bug and the rest is history.
You can get a dose of NKBR advice once a month. Nancy writes a monthly fashion advice column for Dallas and Fort Worth Child Magazine.
